Strabane BID

A BID is as a business-led initiative, supported by legislation, where businesses work together and invest collectively in local improvements to their business environment.  The businesses through extensive consultation decide what improvements and projects they want to implement, decide what it will cost them, as well as how they will be managed and delivered. This is then put into a five year business plan which is voted on and funded by the businesses within the BID area.

Strabane has been selected by the Department for Social Development as one of seven pilot areas in Northern Ireland to develop a BID.

You can go to http://instrabane.org/ to promote events and activities for the programme, this website is a useful resource as a document library for businesses within the proposed BID area.
