Street Life Regeneration
Street Life is the Council's response to how we can recover from the pandemic by making some changes to the way we utilise and enjoy our urban centres, to make them safer and more accessible but also generate greater business confidence and vibrancy.
One way system on Ferryquay St & more space for pedestrians

We are improving the pedestrian experience to generate safe footfall for businesses. Ferryquay Street is now one way traffic towards the Diamond, there will be extended public realm in the Diamond at the Austin's quadrant and the next stage will see the creation of parklets along Bishop Street.
Derry: A Walkable City - a compact, historical and beautiful city to wander around and explore - opportunity to create vitality in our urban areas.
