‘Small but mighty’ – The story of Tom Thumb comes to the Alley
04 May 2018
Children’s theatre company Lyngo return to the Alley Theatre in Strabane on Thursday 16th May to tell the amazing story of Tom Thumb.
One night tiny Tom overhears Mum and Dad talking – there’s nothing left to eat so they are going to leave him and his six brothers in the forest! Outwitting his parents and the ogre, Tom shows everybody that even though he is small he is still ‘mighty’ – as he protects his brothers, finds the treasure and makes sure they’ll never be hungry again!
CBeebies’ Patrick Lynch brings the classic story to life in a playful and fascinating show which is performed entirely on and under a kitchen table. Suitable for children aged three and above, this fantastic show is full of Lyngo magic with feathery spinning birds, a flying house and a portable forest!
Tom Thumb has been Lyngo’s most popular and successful piece of work to date – and to mark 15 years of productions the theatre company have brought back their very first show which has been revamped and specially adapted for a younger audience – perfect for little ones aged 3-6 years old.
Tickets are £4 available from the Alley Theatre Box Office on 028 71 384444 or online www.alley-theatre.com
