Celebrate the festive season with the Strabane Chamber Choir
03 December 2021
Strabane Chamber Choir will be returning to the Alley Theatre for a festive concert on Friday 10th December.
Featuring a mix of carols, traditional hymns and a sprinkling of Jazz numbers, it will be a magical night, plus there will be special guests from the cast of Chicago and singers from Class Act.
Strabane Chamber Choir were formed in 2014 by local music teacher Gerard Bradley. Gerard had a long-standing interest in choirs with his distinguished career in Loreto Grammar, Omagh.
This Strabane choir was somewhat of a retirement plan to tap into the best adult singing talent, not just in Strabane, but involving members from Derry, Omagh, Letterkenny and Ramelton.
The choir like to compete and have been very successful at national level, winning awards at Derry, Sligo and Navan national choral fests. Their repertoire is an eclectic mix of everything from the Renaissance period to modern Choral, including Jazz and Rock.
This is their first concert return after a long hiatus necessitated by the pandemic and it is not to be missed. So, come along and enjoy a Christmas cracker of a night at The Alley.
Tickets are £10, £8 (con), and are available from online
