Council issue update on bin collections

Please find below today’s update on bin collections throughout the city and district. 

• Black bins which were not collected in rural areas last Thursday due to icy weather conditions, will be collected tomorrow, Wednesday, January 3^rd 2018.

• Food caddies which were not collected on Monday (New Year’s Day), will be completed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 3^rd 2018. Please leave out early for collection.

• Blue bins which were not collected on Monday (New Year’s Day), will be completed on Saturday, January 6^th 2018.

• Council appreciates the public’s patience in dealing with the backlog during the Christmas and New Year period.

• All scheduled bin collection services resume as normal from today, Tuesday, January 2^nd 2018.
