Baronscourt Estate, Newtownstewart, Co Tyrone

Saturday 21st May 2016

There are just now just six weeks to go until HELL & BACK, Ireland’s Toughest Physical and Mental Endurance Challenge, comes to Northern Ireland for the first time on Saturday 21st May 2016.

Taking place in the stunning Baronscourt Estate, Newtownstewart, Co Tyrone, HELL & BACK Zeus will see the grounds of this working farm, famous for its award-winning fishing and wild game, turned into an adventure playground for one day, where HellRaisers must complete an 8km / 5 mile trail route, crossing rivers and lakes, climbing hills and mountains and crawling through bogs and swamps.

To survive, HellRaisers must conquer all the elements thrown at them, whether that is the temperamental weather conditions, the gruelling natural environment or HELL & BACK’s torturous and infamous man-made obstacles, including Satan’s Pit, Hell of a Shock, Nightmare on Hell Street and Thru’ Hell & High Water.

And you can be sure that the event organisers, Alive Outside in partnership with Derry City & Strabane District Council, will have a number of torturous brand new obstacles lined up especially for this exciting new Ulster venue, to thrill both participants and spectators!

There will be over 3,000 participants travelling from all over Ireland and abroad with many planning to overnight in the Derry region and attend the VIP Apres-Party in Cellar Bar / Silver Street.

For corporates, HELL & BACK is a perfect Team Building opportunity. As well as pushing work mates physically, the nature of the event also demands participants help each other through the different challenges. With such as strong emphasis on camaraderie, HELL & BACK will help build strong bonds within the team.

HELL & BACK is also ideal as a charity fundraiser and, since 2011, it has helped raise over STG£1 million for large variety of worthwhile causes, from cancer charities to sports clubs. What better way to raise vital funds for a worthy cause than by telling people that you are taking part in “Ireland’s Toughest Physical & Mental Endurance Challenge”?!

Also HELL & BACK Zeus is also an official qualifier for the European Obstacle Course Run (OCR) Championships, which will take place in Holland on 12th June, meaning that the first 10 male and first 10 female finishers in Baronscourt will qualify for the Finals, the first year an Irish event will provide qualifiers.

With less than 500 spaces available, HELL & BACK, is selling out very quickly! If you would like to try and make it thru’ the country’s largest and most popular obstacle course run, then go to www.hellandback.ie today and register as an Individual, Team of 4 or Group of 21+.
