Leisure services payments won’t be taken until facilities reopen

16 March 2020

Derry City and Strabane District Council has moved to reassure subscribers to its Leisure Services that no direct debit payments will be taken until facilities reopen.

Those who have paid for their membership up front will have their membership term extended to reflect the closure.

On Friday Elected Members agreed to close all Council owned buildings to the public for an initial two-week period.

The closure includes Leisure Centres at the Foyle Arena, Bishop’s Field, Templemore Sports Complex, Brooke Park, Derg Valley Leisure Centre, Riversdale Leisure Centre, Melvin Sports Complex, Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium and the City Baths.

All children/adult learn to swim programmes will resume when the centres reopen.

We apologise for this inconvenience and urge the public to be patient during this challenging time.
