03 March 2022
The North West Regional College are inviting local business people to their Strabane campus on Derry Road for a networking event to highlight the support and funding programmes they can offer.
The Business Breakfast on Thursday March 10th at 8.30am is part of the comprehensive programme for Derry City and Strabane District Council's Enterprise Week 2022.
Fergal Tuffy, Technology Innovation Manager at NWRC, encouraged business owners and entrepreneurs to avail of the opportunity to learn more about how the college can help their business grow.
"We offer a varied range of fully-funded support programmes that can benefit and grow every size of business from a sole trader to a company with hundreds of employees," he said.
"With Invest NI Innovation Vouchers worth up to £5k, 60 hours of funded support through Dept for the Economy's (DfE) InnovateUs and the DfE Skills Focus upskilling programme for employees, this event will help you to see how NWRC's Business Support Team can help you best.
"We will also be offering free skills needs analysis for attendees where we can discuss your specific needs and we'll help identify solutions to meet your needs."
The event begins with a breakfast and networking session followed by a presentation on funding opportunities at 9am which includes case studies from existing clients and local businesses who have received support.
Enterprise Week will take place from Monday 7th – Friday 11th March with a combination of physical and virtual events, marking the tenth anniversary of the annual event.
As local businesses look ahead to brighter times, the 2022 programme has a strong focus on the opportunities that lie ahead and the innovations to aid positive growth and development.
