Pride of Dakota Marching Band perform in Guildhall Square

The North Dakota State University Gold Star Marching Band made a special appearance in Derry’s city centre on Tuesday as part of their 2018 Tour of Ireland.
The band met with Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Councillor Maolíosa McHugh, and performed a medley of songs on the walls and in Guildhall Square.
The group of 100 musicians, ranging in ages from 18 to 23, will travel around Ireland prior to taking part in Dublin Bay Prawn Festival on March 16th and the St Patrick’s Day Parade in Swords/Blanchardtown, Dublin on March 17th.
