The information sessions will inform businesses of changes to the charge schedule for the various services or commercial waste, recycling centres and bin charges ahead of the transfer to the new Council on 01 April.

The sessions will be held from next week, Monday, 23 March at the Newtownstewart 200 Centre, Moyle Road, Newtownstewart from 5-7pm; on Wednesday 25 March at the Derg Valley Leisure Centre, Castlederg from 5-7pm; and on Friday, 27 March from 1-3pm at the Strabane District Council New Depot Offices, 6 Strahans Road, Strabane.

The chair of Regional Services Cllr Patsy Kelly encouraging the public to attend the information sessions said it was important that the public get an understanding of the rationale behind the new cost structure.
