Triskele Artists exhibit at the Alley Theatre
31 July 2018
The latest exhibition by the Triskele Artists, featuring the works of Sinéad Smyth, John Kavanagh and Stephen Shaw is currently on display to the Alley Theatre in Strabane from Monday 30 July to Friday 24 August.
The artist trio from Derry and Inishowen are steadily going from strength to strength since they opened their first group exhibition at the Garden of Reflection in Derry earlier in the year, where they showcased their individual and shared visions, including new works inspired by mythology, landscape and folklore.
This is an ambitious year for the Triskele Artists too, who only started working as a collective in 2017. After meeting at the highly successful ‘Art in Mini’ exhibition at Grouse Hall House, Gleneely, organized and curated by Sinéad and Stephen, the group have been active in creating artwork and opportunities to showcase their diverse styles and multi-layered work.
Having been invited to take part in Féile and Phobail in Belfast in March, they have shown at Centric at The Bernard Shaw pub in Dublin and are delighted to bring their delicate work to audiences in Strabane throughout August.
They will certainly be the ones to watch over the coming months and their show ‘Along these lines’ at The Alley here in Strabane is not to be missed
