Niall Dougherty

Name: Niall Dougherty.

Age: 14 Yrs.

Favourite River: The Finn and Mourne.

Favourite Lake: I fish most weekends at Bally heather and Birchwood. I have fished from the very young age of 4, instantly recognising, this was the sport for me. I find fishing not only a hobby but peaceful.

Favourite Fly: The muddler, nymph and dry fly. These have been very successful for me.

Best Personnel Angling Experience to date: I have worked hard in recent seasons to get the opportunity to represent Ireland, at the ITFFA Internationals in Wales, this summer.

Ambitions in Fishing: With the recent success of getting unto the International Team, I am focused in continuing my progression within the sport.

Future Life/Occupation Interests: Fishing related work, as it has been and always will be, a big part of my life.
