St Patrick's Day Parade

North West Carnival Initiative presents St Patrick’s Day Spring Carnival Parade ‘Recycle & Renewal'.

Famed for their fantastical and flamboyant carnival parades, the NWCI has stepped into Spring for this year’s Carnival parade in celebration of ‘Recycle & Renewal’.

Mystical creatures will weave their way through the city’s streets along with a host of characters representing young people from fables and fairy tales from faraway lands.  Today’s youth and culture will have pride of place, so expect to be delighted by dance moves from everything from ballet to hip hop.

The St Patrick's Day Spring Carnival Parade will start at 3pm from Bishop Street Car park and weave its way around the city centre.

Bishop St Car Park ~ The Diamond ~ Shipquay Street ~ Whitaker Street ~ Foyle Embankment ~ Harbour Square Roundabout ~Strand Road~ ends at Strand Road Car Park.

* NWCI is supported by Derry City and Strabane District Council & Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
