After a 6 year hiatus, The Blizzards are back with a bang. The Mullingar 5 piece have had one hell of a year including an instantly sold out Whelan’s date, a headline show in the Olympia Theatre, a UK tour, packed tents during this summer’s festival season and infectious singles “Drop Down The Anchor” and "Perfect On Paper", which have been taking over Irish radio featuring on Radio A playlists across the country.
These power pop chart toppers are obviously no strangers to the Irish music scene. Before the Voice of Ireland, and Niall Breslin’s solo and producing career, The Blizzards drew crowds of sincere music fans with their combination of catchy pop toe tappers and contagious beats to stages at Slane, Oxegen, Independence and The Olympia. Since the band's conception in 2004, their release history is nothing to be sniffed at.
The Blizzards have released seven charted singles and two albums. Their debut album, A Public Display of Affection, was released in October 2006 achieved double platinum status in Ireland. Their second album Domino Effect released in 2008, entered the Irish Singles Chart at number two and birthed four singles, the top three track "Trust Me, I'm A Doctor" plus "Trust Me, I'm A Doctor" plus "The Reason", "Postcards" and "Buy It Sell It".

Ireland’s newest indie-rock sensation The Academic have had an incredible 18 months. From playing a 'Battle of The Bands' competition at their local school the band , made of up of brothers Matt and Stephen Murtagh, Dean Gavin and Craig Fitzgerald, have emerged as one of the most exciting live acts on the Irish and UK music scene.
Nominated for the Choice Music Prize with their debut single ‘Different’ in 2016, the band have already built up an impressive live resume which includes, sold out headline tours across the UK and Ireland, main stage performances at some of Europe’s most high profile festivals as well as opening slots for acts like Twenty One Pilots, The Strokes, Catfish And The Bottlemen. Róisín’s much anticipated second record is set to be released in 2017. With its foreboding lyrics, ominous melodies and haunting guitar riffs, forthcoming single ‘ Warn Me of Silence ’ shows O at her best. The single has already gained success online as the song which rang out the last episode of Amy Huberman drama series ‘Striking Out ’. 2017 has already seen Róisín perform in the States and around Ireland, as well as the UAE and an appearance on RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars .
Róisín is set to hit Australia and the US again later this year as well as continuing to gig at home. During the past year Roisin has performed all across America and Australia performing at the Blue Mountain Festival and Port Fairy Folk Festival to rapturous crowds. She then joined Irish Rock band The Coronas as a support act on their German Tour. Róisín is no stranger to German audiences as she embarked on her first headline tour there in 2015, with a performance on German morning show ZDF Moma .
Róisín has shared the stage with world renowned artist, supporting the likes of Lionel Richie, Bryan Ferry and Imelda May.

Ryan McMullan’s talent is a rare jewel in the crown of the current popular music scene. With a voice raw with story telling and filled with rich and varied tones, Ryan’s youth clearly doesn't deter from his ability to communicate story and emotion. Home to the likes of Foy Vance and Iain Archer, Northern Ireland is and always has been a hub of song writing talent. Ryan McMullan is no exception.
Hailing from Portaferry, a small seaside town in Northern Ireland, the 25 year old is a fresh new talent on the singer/songwriter scene. With a voice reminiscent of Paolo Nutini and early Tom Waits, Ryan has been putting in the necessary graft in local pubs for a number of years. With hugely successful recent support shows with Foy Vance and American alt-country rockers NEEDTOBREATHE, Ryan is fast gaining a reputation as an exciting talent. His debut EP Listen gives a taste of his musical ability and has been well received on these recent tours.
His voice and potential has recently caught the attention of other singer songwriters also born out of the grass roots Northern Ireland music scene. With their backing, Ryan’s craft of songwriting being harnessed and endorsed by some of the music industries biggest names (Gary Lightbody), Ryan’s future is certainly set to be a bright one.

A few short months ago the legendary Queen of Country Music Philomena Begley during an interview on RTE’s ‘Late Late Country Special’ predicted that new comer Cliona Hagan would very quickly make her mark on the Irish and UK Country Music Scene to a viewing audience of 1.3 million. True to those words Cliona has indeed took the scene by storm.
Cliona and her Band launched last May 2016 under the guiding light of Aidan Quinn (son of Philomena Begley). Aidan performs the triple role of manager, band leader and drummer. Since the launch Cliona has not only played to her own packed audiences but also toured with some of the industries greats from Philomena Begley to Nathan Carter. This young lady from Co. Tyrone hasn’t wasted any time when it has come to the studio either. Releasing eight hit singles, including We’re All Gonna Die Some Day, The Cowboy Yodel Song and a duet with Michael English ‘Crazy Over You’.
