*Please note – The Co-Design Phase shaping our bid content has now closed. DCSD Council is no longer able to take ideas for this funding.*

PEACEPLUS Theme 1.1 DCSDC Concept Form

Deadline 19th August 2022 5pm

A huge thank-you. Around 240 people and 140 organisations across our council area took part in our Phase 1 workshops for the Co-Design of PEACEPLUS Theme 1.1. This has been essential in helping inform a potential funding bid of around £8 million to the SEUPB (Special EU Programmes Funding Body) to bring benefit to our local population.

Phase 1 will complete on Friday 19th August 5pm. This is the deadline for the return of Concept Forms to [email protected]

To help any organisation wishing to put forward an idea, please see these 3 documents:

·        A written report on the findings of Phase 1 Co-design workshops

·        A powerpoint summarising the findings of Phase 1 Co-design workshops

·        A Concept Form – for more formal submission of project ideas.

After 19th August 2022 new ideas will not be considered unless there are clear gaps in the ideas put forward which are directly relevant to our Phase 1 findings.

The PEACEPLUS Board are keen that these are issued as widely as possible to all relevant organisations – community, voluntary, statutory and others – and across all identities and geography within our Derry City and Strabane District Council area. Organisations and individuals who engaged with our Phase 1 series of workshops, and others who have not yet engaged, may wish to more formally put forward the outline of a project idea. The purpose of the Concept Form is to formally gather ideas relevant to this programme. It is not an application for a grant. The form will help the PEACEPLUS Board to create a longlist of project ideas that might fit with the funding opportunity under PEACEPLUS Theme 1.1. Please feel free to use the attached information in any way which is helpful to our Co-Design Process.

Any organisations which have research information or relevant local reports which may help our desk research are welcome to send them to [email protected]

Should you require the information in a different format, or if you wish to discuss an idea with the PEACE Team, please contact us on [email protected]
