Let us make it easier for you to get into the support services department.

Derry and Strabane Labour Market Partnership are running a course which will give you the confidence and skills to move forward in your journey to work.

What will the course cover?

• Talking about the job description and job specification
• Understanding the job roles
• Completing an online application form
• ​Interview skills
• Dress code for interviews
• Teamwork
• Customer Service
• Confidence Building
• Basic Food Hygiene
• Health and Safety (COSH)

How long will the course last?
You will attend ½ day twice per week for 8 weeks.

What if I haven’t studied in years?
Do not worry, you will receive support from your Tutor and our Labour Market Partnership staff.

Am I too young / old to do this?
This is open to anyone aged 16+ who is looking for work and is not in full-time education or training.

I’m not sure about filling out an application form.
Do not worry, we will help you with:

• Completing the WHSCT application form
• Preparing for the WHSCT interview

How much will it cost me?
This course is FREE to all participants
