Sports Committee Maintenance Fund

Sports Committee Maintenance Fund

Following the recent completion of the Playing Pitch Strategy, Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Sports Committee has invested in a new Maintenance Fund that will provide financial assistance towards clubs who own and maintain their facilities and in particular playing pitches.

The aim of the fund is to provide financial assistance to ensure that clubs have the opportunity to maintain their playing surface to the highest level, therefore enabling greater usage on a more regular basis. Any financial assistance must be associated with maintenance of the playing surface or fixed asset that is integral towards the delivery of the sport.

Applicants will apply using the Council's online grant portal www.dcsdcgrantaid.com and applications should be submitted by 3.00pm on Friday 25th August 2023.
