The Mayor is committed to providing support to the local community and to pursuing benefits for the entire Council area.

He therefore welcomes all invitations for his attendance at events and will endeavour to accommodate as many requests as his diary can accommodate.

As the Mayor’s diary is extremely busy, it is advisable to give at least two weeks notice. Consideration is given to all requests; however on those occasions where there is a clash of engagements, you may be advised that the Deputy Mayor or another representative will attend on behalf of the Mayor.
