Derry city and Strabane District recycling centres

♻️Pennyburn and Strathfoyle recycling centres will be open from 1-5pm on Sundays for people to dispose of waste. Glendermott Road Recycling Centre is also open by appointment only. See below for booking info.

♻️Access to Glendermott Road Recycling Centre is by appointment only and booking is essential the day before entry. See below for opening times. 

♻️ Vans are permitted access to Pennyburn, Strathfoyle and Claudy recycling centres ONLY between 8- 9am. Van access to Strahans Road recycling centre is between 10-11am Mon-Sat.

♻️​Temporary waste disposal facilities are in place at Spamount Playing Fields, Castlederg to assist people in the area to dispose of additional waste during the current COVID-19 pandemic on a weekly basis as Killen Recycling Centre remains closed. Click here for further info.

9:30am - 12noon, 1 - 4:30pm, 6 - 8pm Monday to Friday                                                                                            8am - 6pm Saturday                                                                                                                                                1 1- 5pm Sunday

NO ENTRY WILL BE PERMITTED ON THIS SITE WITHOUT BOOKING THE DAY BEFORE YOUR SLOT. 

This site is for cars and small vans only. No large vans or trailers will be allowed.
