The young and extremely talented Laoi Coyle will be back at this year’s North West Angling Fair.

Local talent, 14 year old Laoi, began fishing with his dad only a year before he started to think about trying to tie his own ties. Self-taught via Davie McPhail's youtube videos Laoi mastered the techniques of fly tying. Sparking his interested further he then took an 8 week fly tying course with renowned fly tying talent, Geoff Hamilton, and the rest as they say is history.

He now has a list of regular customers locally but also from across Ireland and the UK. Laoi remains humble about his remarkable talent and anyone that has seen him tie will be struck by his total dedication, easy manner and craftsmanship.

Laoi now travels all over to tie including Shane's Castle Game Fair in Antrim and at Flyfest in The Lake District and Stirling Scotland. He is very much looking forward to coming back to this year’s show so stop by to see and support this emerging talent.
