October 2015

Brooke Park

The contractor has continued to make progress throughout the whole of the site during the month of October. Most notably phase one of the project has now been completed and the 3G pitch has been handed over to the Council. The contractor core drilled the wall at Rosemount and the new railings along Rosemount Avenue installed. The kerbs and the binder course have also been laid along the main avenue in order to allow the 3G pitch to become operational. Furthermore works to all the buildings are continuing with screed floors being laid and windows installed. The play area is also now laying shape with drainage installed.  Top soil has been laid over the proposed new flower beds and borders. The contractor has also made good use of the mild conditions with the sowing of grass seed and the planting of bulbs.
