A celebration of shared stories, creativity and community connections

The finale event of the Culmore Connections PEACEPLUS Project, funded through the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) and Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Local Action Plan, brought together participants, partners and members of the community to mark the successful conclusion of the project.

The event saw the launch of beautiful new stained glass windows at Culmore Community Hub, alongside the unveiling of ‘Stories Through the Years’, a creative writing collection featuring memories, reflections and stories from people in Culmore and Muff.
Guests enjoyed an afternoon celebrating the relationships, experiences and achievements that emerged through the project, highlighting the power of storytelling, creativity and cross-border collaboration in bringing communities together. The stained glass artwork and published collection will serve as a lasting legacy of the connections forged, the stories shared and the friendships built throughout the programme.
