Cocktail Week set to shake up the walled city
24 June 2026
Get ready to raise a glass as Derry prepares to host its first-ever Cocktail Week, bringing together some of the region’s best bars, restaurants and hospitality venues for ten days of fun and iconic venue exploring.
The debut event for the city will allow locals and visitors to discover new venues, enjoy exclusive cocktail offers and experience the vibrant nightlife that makes the walled city one of the most exciting destinations in Northern Ireland.
From classic serves to innovative creations, Derry Cocktail Week promises to showcase the very best of the city’s thriving drinks scene while providing a major boost for the local hospitality sector.
Running from Friday 21 – 30 August 2026, the 10-day extravaganza will feature some of the city's most renowned restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs, each bringing their unique flair to the celebration with £5-£7 cocktails and the biggest and best venues signed up for all the action.
Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or a casual sipper, there's something for your entire party to enjoy.
Event organisers behind the fun are forecasting “a huge debut 2026 event with big visitor numbers” as more iconic venues are being announced in the lead up to the summer event. Encouraging further footfall into the city centre, the event will also help attendees uncover new bars while shining a light on some of Derry’s favourite locals, too.
Anyone with a Derry Cocktail Week wristband will be able to take advantage of the several delicious discounts that will be available throughout. All venues will offer cocktails from between £5 - £7 and some will have discounts on food bills, two-for-one drinks and more. The most exciting part though? Discovering each venue’s signature cocktail exclusively for the event’s wristband wearers.
Plus, visitors can also enjoy a delicious signature mocktail option in each venue, too.
There are 17 conic bars already signed up including The Anchor Bar, Badgers Bar and Restaurant, Blackbird, Castle & Cove Bar, Campbells Bar, Clipper Quay Social, Georges Bar, Walled City Brewery and Guildhall Taphouse to name just a few with more joining in the lead up, and event partners for the debut year include LegenDerry Food, who represent the best award-winning local food and drink network in Derry, and Visit Derry.
Early bird discount wristbands are available and priced from just £9.95 plus a booking fee. There is also a discount for groups of four or more, with tickets just £6.95 each, plus booking fee. All wristbands can be purchased online at derrycocktailweek.com
