Dates for North West Angling Fair 2026 confirmed

Anglers across the North West region can officially mark their calendars as Derry City and Strabane District Council confirms that the 2026 North West Angling Fair will take place on Saturday, March 28th and Sunday, March 29th, 2026.
The 2026 Fair promises to be bigger and better and will take place in the newly refurbished Melvin Sports Complex in Strabane. This modern, state-of-the-art venue will provide an ideal setting for showcasing the best of angling gear, services, and expert demonstrations.
While general event details are still being finalised, the organisers are now actively inviting expressions of interest from potential traders, exhibitors, and businesses within the angling and outdoor industries.
This is a prime opportunity for businesses to connect directly with a dedicated audience of fishing enthusiasts, from seasoned experts to newcomers.

It is hosted annually by Derry City and Strabane District Council, with funding and assistance from the Loughs Agency, and attracts more than 3,000 visitors to Strabane.
