Mayor congratulates Derry boxer on USA Scholarship

Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Cllr McHugh extending his congratulations to Cahir on securing the scholarship also acknowledged his recent victory in Pennsylvania, where he was named ‘Fighter of the Night’.
Wishing him well with his scholarship Mayor McHugh said: “Cahir is a shining example of talent, dedication and ambition, and we are immensely proud of him as he continues to inspire others at home and abroad.”
