Revellers enjoy second day of successful Foyle Maritime Festival
29 June 2026
Thousands of festival revellers converged on Derry’s riverfront today, Friday, to enjoy the second day of the Foyle Maritime Festival. Despite some wet rain conditions in the early afternoon visitors and locals enjoyed world-class entertainment, the historic tall ships, stunning maritime attractions as well as the maritime markets and hospitality from our city and district’s local businesses.
From family fun to spectacular sights on the water, the second day of the four-day festival enjoyed a hugely successful day despite the early inclement weather conditions in the morning.
The Foyle Maritime Festival continues throughout this weekend – continuing on Saturday and from 12pm to 11pm daily.
