Strabane Set to Come Alive After Dark This Halloween
26 October 2026
Strabane is gearing up for a spooktacular Halloween weekend as the town’s popular After Dark Programme returns with live music, themed entertainment and plenty of Halloween mischief across local venues on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October.
With this year’s theme, Spirits, Beats & Wicked Treats, the programme promises two nights of entertainment for locals and visitors looking to celebrate Halloween in style and continue the celebrations into the night.
The festivities get underway on Friday 30 October, with Halloween Eve Live featuring Nicky McCallan at Diceys, while Charlie’s Bar welcomes Dean Gallagher for an evening of live music from 9pm to 11pm.
Halloween night itself, Saturday 31 October, will see the town come alive with music, spooky-themed entertainment and plenty of opportunities to get into the Halloween spirit. Diceys will put horror knowledge to the test with its Big Quiz of Horror at 7.30pm, followed by Halloween hits from Mickey Ferry from 10pm.
Meanwhile, Charlie’s Bar will welcome Paddy McGlinchy for live music from 9pm to 11pm, while The Harp & Fiddle will host The Pontius Pilates. Over at XOX, revellers can get ready for The Nightmare Before XOXMas, with doors opening from 9pm.
For those looking to soak up the atmosphere, The Farmers Home is also inviting visitors to come along - if they dare!
Ashleigh Devine, Events Coordinator, said the After Dark Programme was a great opportunity to showcase the town’s hospitality venues and encourage people to enjoy the Halloween celebrations locally.
“Halloween in Strabane always brings a fantastic atmosphere, and the After Dark Programme is a great way to celebrate with friends, enjoy live entertainment and support our local businesses.
“With a great mix of music, themed events and Halloween fun across the town, we’re encouraging everyone to get dressed up, come along and enjoy everything Strabane has to offer this Halloween weekend.”

So, whether you’re testing your horror knowledge, hitting the dance floor or enjoying live music, Strabane is the place to be this Halloween for Spirits, Beats & Wicked Treats.
