Loughs Agency is thrilled to announce it will once again have a strong presence at the upcoming North West Angling Fair 2026. Join us for hands on learning about rivers, waterways, and marine life for all ages.
• The ‘Marine Machine’ is a hands-on educational trailer that lets people meet live marine creatures, try angling skills, explore biodiversity and conservation, and test their ocean knowledge as part of a catch-all immersive, interactive experience.
• Using VR headsets, families can also be immersed in underwater landscapes, diving into the world of marine life around us.
• The Loughs Agency team will also be there to share information about their conservation efforts and support programmes for anglers in the Foyle and Carlingford areas.
• Information about Fisheries and Angling Improvement Projects for the Foyle and Carlingford areas.
As the statutory body responsible for the conservation, protection, and management of the Foyle and Carlingford catchments, Loughs Agency uniquely combines interactive and immersive experiences with educational information and guidance, engaging a broad range of audiences.
