Loughs Agency is thrilled to announce it will once again have a strong presence at the upcoming North West Angling Fair 2026. Join us for hands on learning about rivers, waterways, and marine life for all ages.

•    At the macro invertebrate station, families can learn about underwater creatures and their marine worlds.
•    The Loughs Agency team will also be there to share information about their conservation efforts and support programmes for anglers in the Foyle and Carlingford areas.
•    Information about Fisheries and Angling Improvement Projects for the Foyle and Carlingford areas. 

As the statutory body responsible for the conservation, protection, and management of the Foyle and Carlingford catchments, Loughs Agency uniquely combines interactive and immersive experiences with educational information and guidance, engaging a broad range of audiences.

 

Loughs Agency – CALM Project

The CALM Project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The project focuses on improving water quality, protecting nature, reducing pollution, and bringing communities together to care for local waterways in a sustainable way.
