Payment Options

TICKET MACHINE PAY & DISPLAY 

Ticket machines only accept coins in Sterling and Euros. NOTE: no change will be given.

Sterling Coins: 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, £2.  

Euro Coins: 20c, 50c €1, €2. 


CASHLESS PAYMENT

A cashless parking system is available for all our charged car parks. We encourage all our users to download the cashless payment system.  This system allows you to pay for your parking with a credit or debit card, rather than cash. To register your vehicle and method of payment visit JustPark-https://www.justpark.com/. 

Once registered, you can pay for and manage your parking using your mobile phone, mobile app or online.

If you do not have a smartphone you can pay for your parking with JustPark using your mobile phone. To start your parking session, phone +44 (0)28 91248440 (local rate charges apply).

ACCESSIBLE PARKING BLUE BADGE

There are dedicated parking spaces in Council car parks – Disabled Parking bays Derry/Londonderry Area and Strabane Area 

Everyone including Blue Badge holders must pay in Pay & Display car parks. 

To apply/renew/queries for the Blue Badge scheme in Northern Ireland, please refer to nidirect government services This is not a service that your local Council provide.

There are currently no parking zones for residents or business owners in the Derry City and Strabane district.
