Join us for some festive fun with the Christmas Lights Switch Ons.
Santa will be the guest of honour on a magical procession through the streets of Derry and Strabane, switching on the Christmas lights as he passes by.

Derry Friday 21st November 2025
There will be entertainment and walk about characters in Guildhall Square from 4.30pm.
The procession begins at 7pm, departing from Bishops Street, and will feature a number of festive characters and beautiful bespoke Christmas themed mobile installations.
Strabane Saturday 22nd November 2025
Strabane sparkles this Christmas with a full afternoon of festive fun, Christmas markets, live music, pony rides, and creative activities for all the family from 12 noon to 5:30pm. The celebrations reach their magical peak at 5pm when Santa himself switches on the Christmas lights on Railway Street, officially kicking off the festive season.
