Waterside Together and The Conservation Volunteers invite people from across the Waterside to participate in the first of four seasonal window box planting workshops this September!
Join facilitator Robert Arbuckle from The Conservation Volunteers as he teaches participants how to plant beautiful floral window boxes to add a little colour to their homes this summer. Robert will be showing people how to build their wooden window boxes as well as planting them.*
This is the second of four workshops held throughout the year. Each workshop will focus on seasonality and participants will learn how to keep their window boxes looking their best all year round. Gardening has been proven to improve mental health and resilience. These nature-based creative workshops will foster an increased sense of pride, calm, and connection among participants, and they are a great way to meet new people.
*If you wish to simply plant your window box, Robert will also have some pre-built boxes available. Please let us know in advance.
