FLOUVA is the genre-bending project of Irish artist Shea Cassidy that moves between electronic music, hip hop and alternative R&B.
Drawing influences from artists such as The Weeknd and Frank Ocean, FLOUVA's music shifts through moments of Hip-Hop intensity and auto-tuned melancholy. His work explores identity and emotional duality, reflecting on the bittersweet tensions that exist within the human experience.
Through his projects, FLOUVA aims to create immersive worlds for the listener, spaces where emotion and imagination connect, allowing the audience to both escape and find themselves within the music.
Over the past 6 years, he has developed his sound through performing across Northern Ireland. His work has also received radio support from BBC Radio Ulster and iRadio, and he has performed at events such as the Frontier Festival alongside artists such as Kneecap.
His independently released music has accumulated over 15,000 streams across streaming platforms. With his upcoming project Gradient, FLOUVA is set to begin a new sonic chapter.
