Join Foyle Hospice on Sunday 7th June 2026 for one of the North West's best-known community fundraising events, the Foyle Hospice Female Walk/Run. This event has been part of the hospice story since 1983 and continues to bring the community together from across the region in support of local specialist palliative care.
The Female Walk/Run is a much-loved annual tradition that welcomes walkers and runners of all ages to come together, take part at their own pace, and make a real difference for local patients and families. Every registration helps raise vital funds for Foyle Hospice and the free care and support it provides to people living with life-limiting illnesses.
The event starts at Catalyst, Bay Road, Derry/Londonderry, with participants asked to be there from 11am ahead of an 11.30am start. Registration is open online through the official booking link. Registration includes the official event T-shirt, making it a special day out for friends, mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, work colleagues, clubs and community groups.
By signing up, participants are supporting a local charity that provides free specialist palliative care services across the North West and West of Northern Ireland. Foyle Hospice supports people and families through inpatient care, care in the home, day therapy and bereavement support, and has cared for more than 22,000 patients and families to date.
