Step back in time to 1689 and experience history brought to life at the Siege Museum.
Join 17th century soldiers as they demonstrate the firing sequence of a replica siege musket and cannon, offering a fascinating insight into the sights, sounds and stories of the Siege. Visitors can also meet the siege ladies, explore Walker’s Plinth on the City Walls at Royal Bastion, and enjoy panoramic views across the city.
Demonstrations will take place outside the Siege Museum on Society Street at 11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm on selected dates.
Make a day of it by visiting the Siege Museum, open Monday to Saturday from 10.00am to 4.00pm, where knowledgeable guides will be on hand to share more about the city’s rich history.
