Sherlock Bones & The Mayor’s Missing Chain is a playful, interactive mystery for ages 4–8. Kids become detectives, solving creative clues and challenges to crack the case and save the day.
Sherlock Bones & The Mayor’s Missing Chain ….is a family-friendly interactive mystery experience combining storytelling, creative challenges, and educational play. Children aged 4- 8 years will step into the world of Sherlock Bones, our detective hero, to solve the case of the Mayor’s missing ceremonial chain.
The event transforms Verbal into a living detective adventure, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork among young participants and their families.
Sherlock Bones & The Mayor’s Missing Chain is an immersive storytelling event where children become the detectives. Through a series of themed rooms and activities within the Verbal Arts Centre, they work in teams to complete creative challenges, earn clues and piece together the riddle of the missing chain.
The experience culminates in a final theatrical encounter in the Bluecoat Room (renamed The Chain Chamber for dramatic effect), where they must crack the final code to solve the mystery and restore the Mayor’s chain. Every child is a character in the story—an active participant in the unfolding narrative.
