Grab your hula hoops and your juggling balls and dust off your festival gear, as we get ready to celebrate at the Waterside Together Mini Festival 2026!
In Your Space Circus will be bringing a bucketload of fun, colour and circus with astounding performances, interactive acts and activities you can try out for yourself.

Join us for workshops in drumming and circus skills, interactive comedy & stilt performers, face painting and a portrait painting puppet, and circus shows!

For little ones aged 0-4, An Cultúrlann will be running its renowned Rhymes in the Park sessions, with stories, rhymes and songs presented by Ulster Scots author and storyteller Robert Campbell, and Irish speakers Cara Park and Saoirse Barbour. Your little ones can enjoy a free ice cream afterwards! This event will run from 1:30-3pm and booking is advised.

As part of this year's event, we will have performances from some of our other programmes, including a Music Hothouse in partnership with the Nerve Centre! Come along to see what young musicians from across the Waterside have in store!

If all of this makes you a bit hungry, we'll have complimentary burgers, hot dogs, and chicken wraps, and ice cream for the first 300 people. Just pop along to the registration tent for details.

What more could you want from a fun-filled afternoon celebrating the Waterside in a stunning shared green space?

*Please note: you do not need to register for this event. Food and ice cream can be acquired based on a first come, first served basis, by popping around to the registration tent. Yoga is also first come, first served.

Parking: there are parking spaces available along the side routes to Woodburn Urban Park and at Kilfennan Presbyterian Church. Please try to avoid Tesco car park as this area can easily become congested. Alternatively, why not walk, or take the bus?
