Equality Screening Reports

Equality Screening Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Equality Scheme outlines how we propose to fulfil our statutory duties under Section 75. Within the Equality Scheme, the Council gave a commitment to equality screen all new and revised policies in order to identify the impact the policy may have on any of the nine Section 75 groups. If a policy is found to significantly impact on any of the groups, then the Council will carry out an Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA).

The Council will publish details of all screening carried out and welcome any comment
