Designed to support existing Tourism businesses in the Derry and Strabane & Causeway Coast and Glens Council areas, the Derry Strabane Tourism Development Programme will provide new collaboration opportunities and business development support to achieve your growth ambitions.

- Bespoke 1:1 mentoring with an experienced business mentor
- Three tourism focused workshops

First Meet Up: 11th January 2023 (online)
This first meet up will be hosted online via Zoom on January 11th, 2024, at 10:00 am and is the first opportunity to join the Derry Strabane Tourism Development Programme. Register Now
During this networking session, you will meet with other Tourism businesses across both Council areas to identify common themes, challenges and growth opportunities that will be developed through the support network until March 2024. The agenda will be driven by the stated and agreed needs of the group, which will then shape the direction of the peer support group going forward.

18 January 2024 Masterclass: Embrace A Giant Spirit- Brand Allignment
This workshop will allow peer group members to understand the current position of TNI and local Councils in their strategic direction, promotional efforts, and support available to local Tourism businesses through their activities, along with key dates for the year.
15 February 2024 Masterclass: Creating Compelling Content on a Smartphone for Your Tourism Business
This workshop will give Tourism businesses in the peer network a unique insight into creating compelling content for your social media channels and for presentational material using only your smartphone to highlight your product offering. Register Now
22 February 2024 Tourism Peer Networking
This networking meeting will allow business to come together to cement their commitment to the peer network and to set strategic direction and roles for members within the network. The outcome will be a set of goals that the network wishes to achieve around areas such as lobbying and representation, collaboration, joint product offering and other goals the network deems important. 14 March 2024 Masterclass Making Social Media Work for Your Tourism Business
How to grow your social media following for your tourism business with the essential do’s and don’ts. This workshop will give Tourism businesses in the peer network a unique insight into utilising your social media channels to highlight your product offering and gain traction through bookings for your service or purchasing products.
