Food Support

Food Support
Foyle Foodbank and Social Supermarket and Strabane Community Project are part of a nationwide network of Foodbanks, working to combat food poverty and hunger.

They work to provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and household packs and to support households living in the Derry and Strabane area who are struggling to buy food or who are referred to them in crisis or who are.

Data provided by the Social Supermarkets shows  that more people are now availing of their services for the first time, due to the cost of living crisis.
