In 2018/19 there were a total of 29,325 pupils enrolled in 116 schools ranging from Pre-school to Post-primary. In 2017/18 almost three-fifths of pupils (57.0%) left school with two or more A-levels, grades A* - E.  84.1% left school with 5 or more GCSEs, grades A*-C and 70.0% left school with 5+ GCSEs, grade A*-C, including English and Maths.
