Piivot Points Exhibition

Pivot Points

The Pivot Points exhibition highlights the significant role of architects from across the island of Ireland in shaping public and institutional spaces, places, and infrastructure. The exhibition explores objects within the Irish Architectural Archive and the associated architects, discussing themes in architecture and planning which, over more than three hundred years, have shaped the existing built environment. The exhibition provides insights into how and why things are the way they are and suggests new stories and directions which can be explored through the archive collections.

The exhibition supports Council’s ongoing work to raise awareness of the City and District’s rich heritage and encourage greater appreciation of the historic buildings and architectural influences that have shaped the places in which people live and work.

The Pivot Points exhibition is at the North West Transport Hub from 28 October to 22 November.
