Bound by the scenic beauty of the Sperrin Mountains, Strabane rests at the meeting point of three rivers; the Mourne, the Finn and the Foyle. It is a town rich in history and heritage: Birthplace of John Dunlap, printer of the American Declaration of Independence; Flann O’Brien, one of Ireland’s most famous literary sons; and pioneer astronomer Annie Maunder.
