Walled City Public Realm

Investment in the Walled City public realm and lighting will enhance the historic heart of Derry while respecting its unique character. Improvements to streets, public spaces and lighting will make the area more attractive, accessible and enjoyable for residents and visitors, particularly in the evening. New lighting features and public realm upgrades will help create memorable places, increase footfall and support local businesses, acting as a catalyst for further investment in the city centre.
