The City Deal is supporting a major programme of regeneration across Derry, focused on culture, heritage, public spaces and the city centre experience.
Strabane Regeneration Programme
The City Deal is delivering a major regeneration programme in Strabane town centre, focused on creating a vibrant, accessible and well-connected civic heart for the town.
At the centre of the programme is the redevelopment of the Canal Basin area, bringing together a new Health Hub, Leisure Centre and North West Regional College campus in one integrated location.

This multi‑partner programme will deliver a new Health Hub, NWRC campus, regional leisure centre, Pedestrian Bridge, and high‑quality public realm and civic space. The event will outline the vision, core elements, and benefits for Strabane’s future, including improved health, education, leisure, connectivity, and place‑making.
Everyone is welcome to attend and find out how this ambitious regeneration programme will shape the town for generations.
