Mayorox invites competitors of all abilities to take part in the district’s first ever HYROX simulation event on Saturday 30th May 2026 at Melvin Sports Complex.
This all-day, chip-timed fitness competition combines running and functional workout stations in a structured race format. Participants can compete individually or as part of a relay team, making it accessible to both seasoned athletes and first-time competitors.
Mayorox is a fundraising event in support of the Mayor’s chosen charities. A minimum donation of £50 applies to all entrants, with the opportunity to raise additional sponsorship.
Further details, including start times, category allocations, safety guidance and event briefings, will be shared with registered participants closer to the event date.

| Ticket Type | Ticket Description |
| Individual Entry | Designed for competitors who wish to complete the full HYROX simulation solo. Suitable for individuals with a good level of fitness and experience in running and functional training. Min age: 16+ (under 18s require parental consent). |
| 2 Person Relay Team | Participants share the running and workout stations between two team members. Ideal for those who want to compete competitively while dividing the workload. |
| 3 Person Relay Team | A balanced team format allowing participants to rotate through stations and running segments. Great for gym groups or friends training together. |
| 4 Person Relay Team | A more accessible team option where the workload is shared across four participants. Suitable for a wide range of fitness levels. |
