Pay Protection

Managing Attendance at Work

The objective of this policy is to adopt a balanced approach towards
protecting and enhancing the interests and wellbeing of Council
employees by;

  • Creating a culture within which all employees work together to
  • maximise productive attendance for the benefit of Council employees and its ratepayers.
  • Promoting good attendance and ensuring that, as far as possible,
  • staff absence is minimised.
