The Graduate Academy offers participants the opportunity to obtain qualifications and work placement experience designed to improve their employability outcomes.
Participants will receive support in obtaining the following qualifications:
- Level 2 Award in Employability Skills
- Level 2 Award in Customer Service
Location: North West Regional College, Strand Road, Derry
Dates: 1st June - 26th June 2026 (9am-3.30pm each day)
Includes two weeks in the classroom and two weeks on work placement.
You are eligible for this programme if you:
- Are a graduate with an awarded degree qualification (evidence to be provided)
- Are out of work and ready to take up employment.
- Are of aged 21+ and are a resident of DCSDC
- Have the right to work in the UK (evidence must be provided to DSLMP)
- Show commitment to fully participating in the programme, complete all necessary paperwork (registration, evaluation, follow up forms)
- Have the time available to attend all necessary training without exception
- Are not participating in any other initiative that would exclude them from a DSLMP Programme (time, commitment, etc.)
