Plant and Machinery Academy
Please note that applications for this this academy have now closed.Summary: this is your opportunity to gain a licence to work in the construction sector. Participants will be trained to foundation level in 1 of the 6 plant / machinery categories below.
Eligibility Criteria
Participants must- Be resident in DCSDC
- Have the right to work in the UK (evidence must be provided)
- Be aged 18+
- Not be in education / school
- Be unemployed, economically inactive or working low hours
- Be willing to progress directly into work
Support available
Training and a two-year trained operator’s card in one of the following:
- Articulate Dump Truck
- Ride on Rollers
- Tractors
- Telescopic Handler
- Plant and Vehicle Marshalling
- Slinger Signaller
